This is a follow up to a question of mine regarding my tooth that has over-erupted due to my retainer not covering my back teeth. If I get the tooth crowned to make it 'shorter', can a crowned tooth still over-erupt? If so, will I need a new retainer which covers all of my teeth? Will a crown even be the answer to my problem? This tooth is keeping all other teeth apart.
