What Type of Laser is Gentlelase Candela Laser? Is It IPL or Fractional or Neither? Very Concerned.

I am curious what type of Laser this is and possible side effects from having some pigmented spots removed. Thanks!

Laser for pigmented spots

The Candela Gentle Lase is a 755 nm alexandrite laser. It is not Fraxel (CO2 laser) or IPL (pulsed, broad spectrum light.) It removes hair in light skinned people. Gentle Lase also treats pigmented lesions, dilated veins and wrinkles. This is a good laser. Laser complications include disappointing results, skin burns, scars and discoloration. I recommend a physician's office rather than a medspa. Hope this helps.
