I'm so self conscious of my uneven jaw.. When I was younger I had braces and they used the rubber bands to align my bite. Since then my jaw sits to the left, my bite is way off and my jaw constantly pops. I'm wondering if it's TMJ or if it's something the braces caused? And how can I fix it?

Hi,i am almost certain you do not need a lefort 1 procedure or any orthognathic surgery. I would need to see more photos but from the two you sent the only improvement i could recommend (and this is really trying hard to find something to improve) would be to reduce the "black triangle" visible...
I would have the braces done and alignment and decompensation of the teeth, followed by surgery to both upper and lower jaw. The upper jaw will probably require expansion transversely. This can be done at the time of the surgery.
