Treatment for Hyperpigmentation After Popping a Pimple

Hi Doc, I am a 23 year old male from Delhi, India with wheatish to fair skin. I popped a pimple on the upper corner of my cheek and applied lots of Old spice aftershave lotion on it using a cotton swab. Due to this stupidity of mine, the are with 1.5 inch diameter turned swollen and red.
I applied fucibet and momentasone furoate over it for a month. It became a little light but did not disappear. My dermat did a superficial chemical peel on it, due to which it has turned darker& more red. Please
