Best Treatment for Hyperpigmentation on the Body?

Unfortunately I suffer from Folliculitis on my buttocks/thigh/bikini line. I'm currently receiving laser hair removal as a treatment and it is working! But I unfortunately have hyperpigmentation/dark spots as a result. What are my options in regards to diminishing these unsightly marks on my buttocks and thighs?
