I’m 9days po from a BA and seem to have gained weight post op despite consuming significantly less food. My activity level has not changed as I was not very active before surgery. Is this a common occurence or is it just bloating/water/gas as my body gets back to normal? I’m on a lot of medications from my PS and thought maybe that is the cause although none seem linked to weight gain besides Singulair. Is singulair commonly prescribed and has it caused weight gain? Should I discontinue using it

If the spots are also tender, you should get them checked and an ultrasound can help evaluate the status of the implant. If the breast is more swollen and tender, there could be bleeding or infection.
No harm done in getting checked out and find out that all is well...we are always open to do so...
Hello dear!!
Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
At the stage you are in, inflammation and discomfort are normal, specially after lying down for the hole night.
If this doesn't improve over time, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.
Good luck :)
