My nose hurt for a few min after and swelled up. No bleeding/bruising. I haven't been squishing my nose so this is a first. Most of the swelling is gone (2nd day). I can touch it without any out of the ordinary discomfort.The side that had "more work done on it" feels swollen on the inside. I feel like when I look at my bridge it appears to slant a little. I'm not sure if it's swelling or if some damage may have actually occurred... My nose did appear slightly slanted post-op due to swelling...

Hair extensions, if only adhesive is used it's fine, but metals are dangerous. Metal can effect to the cautery used during surgery. So you need to remove for your safety but please you let your surgeon know. Maybe he/she give an different advice for you. All the best.
This question can be easily answered by your own surgeon. It could be due to cartilage graft placed as a cap to the nasal tip or is a strut graft to support the tip.
