- my nose needs to be made measurably longer as the nostrils and columella sit too high up (symptom of nose being over-rotated & lacking projection?) - the tip cartilages need to be moderately narrowed - the columella needs to be made longer & thicker - need projection added to the tip - need nostrils narrowed, preferably through the tentpole affect occurring secondary to tip grafts for projection as opposed to excision of tissue Are these goals achievable to the degree shown in photos?
I'm dissatisfied with my nose surgery. nose tip had to be fixed because it was visibly at 90 degree. Result: nose tip turned out looking so dumpy and uneven. Waited 2 yrs and expected improvement, but it became worse, especially left side. Surgeon agreed to do a 2nd surgery and fix nose tip by removing cartilage but he failed once again.1. What's wrong with my nose tip? Why did it turn out like this?It shouldnt look like this, right? 2.Should I seek compensation and go to another one?
My best friend was playing around unfortunately he hit my nose tip downwards with his chest. It hurt for like 48 hours when I touch it ( only the right side hurts). I had rhinoplasty 6 years ago buy Im still concerned about it because after 6 years my nose tip is still very hard and not very moveable. My nose doesnt really look different. Only a bit swelling but when i touch the cartilage part it feels strange.
Hi, this month I will be 9 months post op of a rhinoplasty. My swelling is still pretty severe, and 12 days ago my surgeon gave me a tiny amount of steroid injection. He also told me to massage the nose, which I've been doing and putting a considerable amount of pressure on. It doesn't hurt at all, but I notice that whenever I do massage it it gets more swollen for 1/2 days. At 9 months how strong is the nose, and can cartilage or anything like that still shift and ruin my results?
At start, i wanted osteomy, which supposedly breaks the cartilage to make your nose slimmer. However, it will be too much for my nose and it will make my alar base look wider. If i were to get it done, it will have to be a lil useless. I have seen other black women with wide nasal cartilage/bones yet a higher nose bridge. So theirs look less flat than mine does on camera. I want it to look like picture 1 & 2. 4th is mine contoured (i would like to achieve that more) and 3rd is mine without it
Hello, everyone. I could really use some help. When I was younger I had a small accident with my nose. My nose bled for a minute or two. Fast forward to 6 years later, as I grew up I noticed a small dorsal hump and some irregularities. It bothers me daily. I tried to see multiple ENTs and plastic surgeons but no one can give me a definitive answer. Is there some type of 3D CT scan I could get to know, definitively, if bones or cartilage have issues? Like the best study/protocol possible?
I realize that usually graphs have to be put in place. But what else does it mean? Can those graphs make the nose appear larger? Why do they say that having strong nasal cartilage is so much better to have? Thank you for answering! :)
