okay i had rhinoplasty march 28, 2013 and today is june 8, 2013. i know its going to look a whole lot different in months, but im just wondering, does the thickness of the sides of your nose go down? or is it because my doctor made it this way? like the bridge is thick and pretty flat right now, is that all supposed to go away? i dont want a thick nose and this is bothering me.

If your nose is stable the day after rhinoplasty is not going to collapse. It will take a number of months for you to get psychologically adjusted to the new look. It probably end up with the wonderful result happy for what you did. Be patient.
It is normal to have dried blood in these areas and this should not affect your results. I suggest to continue keeping the outside areas clean. I do tell my patients they can use some hydrogen peroxide on a Q tip to help as well as keeping the incisions moist with ointment.
