I am researching doctors and one of them says he is a "board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon" certified by the American Association of Physician Specialties (AAPS). How does this board compare to other board certifications?

ASAPS it is the best known aesthetic surgeon association with the higher standard and prestigue around the world
ASAPS: is the best plastic aesthetic association and honestly i dont know AAPS, i suppose you should investigate at least at 2 or 3 organizations to achieve a nice results ,the another societies as facial, cosmetical , associations yes they are graduated MD but defiteley they have not taken in accounnt a complete experience in general surgery and of course a complete majoring in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
