Hi, I've been tanning a lot lately and I had my procedure done on July 13, my dad said that it might be dangerous. Is it dangerous to be under the sun a lot after ear otoplasty?

Sun tanning and effect on scars/scarring after ear pinning surgery (otoplasty)
judging from your multiple previous posts, I would highly recommend that you contact your original surgeon even if they are located at a distance or at least contact them by phone.You have previously described red, hard, firm raised, irregular scars. Tanning and excessive sun exposure can certainly contribute to undesireable scarring.

Keep your ears protected from the sun after Otoplasty Surgery.
Tanning is not detrimental for your ears after Otoplasty Surgery, but a sun-burn to your ears might exacerbate swelling and redness. Enjoy your new ears. All the best from NJ
