I received a tca peel a little over 3 months ago and my cheeks at very red and The white heads that developed right after initial peel are still present. The redness are are surrounding by definitive lines (where the tca peel was most applied). I went back for follow ups and doc says this is normal and it should go away after a couple of weeks and told me to apply hydroquinone 4% twice a day (morning and night). I want a second opinion on the healing and how it looks.

I do not recommend applying TCA yourself. When done incorrectly, it can result in permanent discoloration and scarring. I suggest you consult a board-certified dermatologist to help you in treating your sebaceous hyperplasia. There are very easy and safe techniques to remove sebaceous...
Not sure if this was done by a doctor or did you self treat? Either way allow more healing time. If done by a doc than return to see him/her for guidance.
