I'm almost 2 years out from BA, and I'm not sure why the skin between my implants looks like it's lifting up. When I wear a bra there's no cleavage at all and I have to push down on the skin to reach my chest bone. The skin between them feels tight. I got memory gel implants above the muscle 325cc. I went to my doctor that performed the surgery at about 1.5 years post-op and he said it's a good result, but I'm wondering if there's a way to fix the skin lifting?
Answer: Synmastia This is a very complicated problem that occurs when the dissection of the muscle goes too close or too far past the midline. Essentially your breast attachments were obliterated with the dissection and the implants. This is called synmastia. You should see someone who specializes in revisionary breast aesthetic surgery and truly understands breast surgery very well. Best of luck.

Answer: Lack of Cleavage Definition Can Be Corrected In some cases, a revision surgery may be recommended to correct lack of cleavage definition. This could involve repositioning the implants, creating a new pocket for the implant, fat grafting to the cleave areas, or using a tissue expander or acellular dermal matrix to help support the tissue between the breasts. However, it's important to consult with the surgeon who performed your original surgery, as they will be best equipped to evaluate your individual case and recommend the most appropriate course of treatment. It is also important to note that revision surgeries are complex and may not result in the desired outcome. Also, healing takes longer and there is a risk of complications. It is important to weigh the pros and cons with your surgeon before deciding to undergo a revision. Best wishes to you on your aesthetic journey!

Answer: Lifting Your implants are a little large for your frame and are pulling the tissue. This area can be sewn back down, and/or you can go down in size plus close that area off as well.

Answer: Skin tenting Dear cgreen98, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
