How to improve a mouth that looks like it's "sitting too low"? (photo)

Dear RS docs, I am 37, and have a longish face with a longish philtrum (16 mm), although my tooth show on rest is adequate (large incisors, no gummy smile). I can have a lip lift, but my concern is that my whole mouth looks like it is sitting too low on my face, and I don't know what would help that. Am I imagining things or is it in fact low? What would help that - a corner lift? Or maybe an extended lip lift that also lifts the lateral parts of the upper lip? Thank you!

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. This will help with the marionette lines as well.

I'm not sure what it is that you don't like about your lower face either. I do however, think that a lip lift would look nice, giving you more "Pink Show" of your upper lip.
A lip lift can be done in a variety of different ways. In your case, I would excise more skin laterally and very little, if any, centrally. This will pull up the corners.
