I person wouldn't have enough vacation time to recover from my BA. Can the surgery be covered under FMLA: Family Medical Leave Act? What do people tell their workplace? Don't to know they are having a BA.

Tegaderm would add minimal if any support against tension. Medipore taping or a scar-tension system like Embrace are better options I recommend for patients. Tegaderm is very pliable and does little to provide support. Hope this helps!--Erik Hoy, M.D.
