I had an open rhinoplasty performed in June 2021. My upper lip drop was significant and there is no longer any tooth show. My cheek muscles compensated to pull my smile up, resulting in wrinkling under my eyes and a forced unnatural smile. I looked into getting a lip lift, which I plan to have but the surgeon told me that since this muscle was cut the lip lift will not improve tooth show or other affected areas. Is there any way for the DSN muscle to be reattached?
