Both fillers can be used. The choice will depend on the injecting doctor's preference & experience. The patient also can choose depending on the cost. The Radiesse is FDA approved for 1-2 years correction, while Restylane and Juvederm last 6-18 months. If the lips are to be injected in the same sitting, then Radiesse cannot be used.
