Safe to Undergo Ptosis Surgery in India?

I have not heard of many instances of Ptosis Surgery being performed in India. Though there are big hospitals here, is it safe to undergo operation . Also wat about the cost of surgery in India.

Ptosis surgery is commonly performed in India.  There are numerous superb fellowship trained oculoplastic surgeons in India. I have had the opportunity (along with Dr Lucarelli) to attend Oculoplastic and Ophthalmology meetings in India.  We have met and closely interacted with many of the oculoplastic surgeons there. Great oculoplastic surgeon in India for ptosis repair

India has some great oculoplastic surgeons. At Sankara Nethralya, in Chennai,  Dr. Shubhra Goel is excellent.  I know her very well. Similarly, in Madurai, at the Aravind Eye Hospital Dr. Usha Kim has a stellar reputation. Both of these surgeons not only are fellowship-trained, they also teach residents and fellows. Sure but only with a fellowship trained oculoplastic surgeon

The most important thing is to know who will be doing your surgery and that they are properly trained.  There are United States and European trained oculoplastic surgeons practicing in India.  Your best bet is to seek one of these individuals out.  Don't settle for a general surgeon or eye surgeon who is also doing eyelid surgery.
