My hubby thinks my boobs are way too big and am now starting to feel insecure about my boobs It has been 4 days since I did my breast augmentation. All is going very well so far. no pain at all, no issue and my surgeon did a great job. I got 560cc silicone high profile under the muscles. There is still a lot of swelling. I love my breast size but my hubby things is way too large
Answer: Size is completely a matter of personal preference The best way to determine the size that fits your personal perception of the perfect breast is to try on sizers. This way you can see how they fit on you, how they add to your current volume, and whether they fit your frame. Although the surgeon can guide you, only you will be able to tell what is the right size. Try on sizers. Measuring a diameter and then telling the patient what volume they can have (in high, moderate or moderate plus implants) in my mind is backwards. The patients should be allowed to choose the volume. Then the surgeon carefully considers the base diameter, projection, profile, manufacturer, and fill material that will achieve the patients goals of size as well as qualitative look (natural, intermediate, or bold upper pole fullness or projection), all the while taking into consideration the patient's anatomic features that will affect the outcome. The experience of the surgeon and the degree to which they explain the options to you is of utmost importance. The subtlety in the final outcome is not achieved by which profile implant is used, it is determined by the skill in the creation of the pocket, the choice of implant. Don't let the doctor tell you what would look good on you. They cannot tell what you perceive to be the best size. That is up to you.

Answer: Implant size The best way to pick implant size is based on your breast and chest width and not the volume. As the implants get bigger, they get wider. When the width of the implant fits the width of your chest, it will look nice and fit your frame. If the implants are too small, you will have a gap between them and they may look too far apart. If they are too wide, they will make you look top heavy as they may be too wide and stick well out past the sides of your chest. There are ways to get a bigger or smaller look. This can be done by picking a different implant profile. The higher the profile, the narrower the base width of the implant. If someone has a very narrow chest and wants to be big, they should consider a higher profile implant. If someone has a broad chest and they do not want to be too big but want to avoid the gap and still have cleavage without projection, they should consider a lower profile implant such as a moderate. There are options in between these such as the moderate plus. A consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who takes careful measurements and talks to you about your cup size goals will be able to assist you in your decision. Good luck! Answer: Are my implants the right size for me Hi and thank you for the question. I think you already answered your own question in your statement above. If you like the size then they are the right implants for you. You are only a few days out from surgery, so your breasts are likely to change quite a bit. 3-6 months from now they will almost certainly look smaller as the swelling goes down. As the implant volume drops to the lower pole of the breasts the results tend to look much nicer also. Dr West
