I know it sounds like a weird question and of coarse no one has ever asked but i am concerned

It is better to remove it

In surgery, during tummt tuck, that may take 2-4 hours, you will be in a supine position all that time. If the hair extensions are at the back of your head, you develop pressure ulceration and possible hair loss. My advice would be to remove them.

There is no reason to remove your hair extensions prior to your tummy tuck surgery. Good luck.

Should I remove my hair extensions?

If your hair extensions are on your head, I don't see any reason why you would need to have them removed! (You might not be up for going to the hairdresser for a couple weeks following surgery, if that helps with the decision) Good luck!

Remove Hair Extensions prior to surgery?

Thank you for your question. The best thing to do is to discuss with your plastic surgeon and see what his/her recommendations are as well as the rules of the surgery center where the procedure will be performed. I don't see a reason to remove them but again, it is best to discuss with your surgeon. Best Wishes! see video
