I have had an Allergic Reaction from the CO2 Laser. Dr. put me on steroids and antibiotics, but my skin is really dry, and the creme they gave me does not work. What can I use? And is this reaction common?

CO2 post treatment reactions
Although what you are experiencing is distressing, it is not all that unusual. You will come through this experience just fine by following your physicians instructions and by giving your skin the time it needs to heal.
After a resurfacing treatment of any nature, the skin will absorb moisturizers at an astonishing rate. What we recommend to our clients post treatment is to use a thick moisture barrier such as Aquaphor for 7-14 days, until the skin is no longer sensitive and/or oozing....

Dry skin after laser resurfacing and allergic reaction
You should go back to the doctor to see by trial and error what your skin tolerates. Most of us that do resurfacing have a whole host of products to try just for these circumstances. Good luck
