I thought I could get restylane under my eyes and it would help. My dr talked me into juvederm but told me it won't hide all the lines but will make a big difference. Well..it really didn't help much. But Thank goodness she didn't put more than she did because I have read Horror stories about women developing really bad bags after juvederm injections under the eyes. What can I do about this? Is a lower lid lift my only option?

Answer: Yes, please do not let well meaning doctors inject this area with Juvederm.
Eyelid swelling can definitely last 3 weeks or longer,Yes, warm compresses, very gentle massage and IPL can help,Or just make-up - Dermablend is best at covering bruises. It is sold at Macy's and on line.Arnica in my experience does not help after surgery. Best wishes.
Hi AngelinNJI recommend you be fully evaluated by an oculoplastic surgeon. Have you had your thyroid checked? Don't just jump into surgery. Once fully evaluated you can think about different surgical options.Let us know if you have any questions. You can learn more about lower eyelid surgery...
You will already have a scar from your earlier blepharoplasty,Surgery can use this scar to find the excess fat,I do this in the office with local anesthesia,The procedure can go very quickly - or take time, depending on the internal scars from previous surgery. Best wishes.
