I have had a surgery for the excision of a sebaceous cyst in my armpit 9 months ago.Now i can see two small white coloured spots on the wound and the wound is still red.sometimes (especially on sunny days and hot weather and during exercises) experience a pain and numbness around the wound and also in my whole hand.Is this a normal situation.please advice me.

It is hard to make constructive comments without seeing photos. I certainly agree with Dr. Barnett that the cyst may have returned. It does sound like your doctor is trying to help you. But I sense your frustration and agree that you should seek out another opinion...
As the policy holder I would argue this one. I remove lipomas a lot and insurance companies pay for their removal. I would also suggest seeing a good surgeon for consultation and have their office's Insurance coordinator attempt authorization. Good Luck!
Forehead lipomas are often beneath the frontalis muscle. This means that during the lipoma removal the muscles may have been cut and weakened to expose the muscle. This depends on the approach the surgeon took. You should contact the doctor that perofmred the procedure to discuss your concerns....
