I'm scheduled to go in for an abdominoplasty in a few days and was asked to start using Dexidin soap. After showering with it as directed, my skin is extremely itchy (feels like paper cuts dipped in lemon juice), and have broken out in eczema all over my arms. Is there anything I can do? Should I stop using this soap? Is there a concern with using a topical corticosteroid for the eczema? Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear your having this problem. I would recommend he contact his surgeon immediately. Garments by themselves should not cause severe pain. In fact, severe pain from a garment can be an indication they are causing damage.U should contact his surgery right away to...
I don't recommend any topical skin treatment before any type of cosmetic procedures. My only recommendations is to stop taking blood thinning agents and no smoking 6 weeks prior to surgery.
This depends on the dog. If you have a small dog you should be able to walk it within a week. If you have a big dog that pulls you, I would wait a couple of weeks. It is best to avoid this kind of strenuous activity for a few weeks.
