Hello! I am 8 months postop. I had asymmetrical swelling right after cast removal which I thought will go down with time, however I am starting to feel less satisfied. One side of my nose is caving in and it is starting to affect my breathing.. Does this look like mid vault collapse? Can you tell if I am going to develop bilateral vault collapse? Are graft surgeries safe? What are other alternatives for surgery? Thank you in advanve

Even if you're not having problems preoperatively, reducing the size of the nose may cause issues postoperatively. Also, sometimes patients don't realize how their baseline preoperatively is actually worse than it could be if some of the anatomical problems internally were addressed. It's not...
The tip can be lifted easily with a closed approach. Open approach is more useful in complex revision surgery.
In closed approach the skin is elevated off the nose from the inside and there are no external scars.
The hump is reduced and some grafts are used to lift the tip.
