Thank you for your question. You can take light walks the day after your surgery. Jogging is allowed one week after the surgery and vigorous exercise can start 4 weeks after. We don't recommend you take blood thinning medication such as aspirin 10 days before and after your operation. Herbal tea is also not recommended because it thins your blood which may result in bleeding. Best wishes

Of course, supplements will help. However, the method your doctor chooses during the surgery will affect the level of your bruising. For example, if the ultrasonic piezo instrument is used, there will be almost no bruising on your face.

Regulation of dietary supplements does not include testing to ensure safety before being sold. The FDA "assumes" them to be safe unless shown otherwise. Over 23000 emergency room visits every year are attributed to the use of dietary supplements! I recommend a preoperative well balanced diet of foods you enjoy.
We do not recommend any form of exercise one week after your procedure. It may result in an elevation of your blood pressure which may lead to excessive nasal bleeding. We recommend postponing exercise for at least 4-6 weeks.
As every plastic surgeon has their own individualized pre- and postoperative rhinoplasty protocol, I recommend you speak directly with your surgeon for postoperative care advice.
