I would also like to ask a few questions to put my mind at ease since my plastic surgent isn't available these couple of days. Does bending head down to dry hair two weeks after rhinoplasty cause any internal damages? Also, I've been under a lot of stress and pressure lately. Will this cause any damage? And when is it safe to start wearing glasses again? Thanks
Answer: Bend and stretch In my experience, no. Bending your head down to dry your hair two weeks after surgery is not dangerous to your result. Wearing glasses depends on what was done so you must ask your surgeon about that.

Answer: 2 weeks post op, some advices: Thank you very much for enquire. It's too early to make value judgments with only 2 weeks after a rhinoplasty.Swelling after a rhinoplasty depends of the surgery complexity. In this regard, the nasal swelling Post-op It can last from two weeks to two months. To reduce this swelling, I recommend you perform delicates daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the face (around the nose) avoid sun exposure, and take pain/inflamation pills, as your surgeron precribe you.Kind regards, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Answer: Bending over after rhinoplasty If you are two weeks post surgery, you should be able to bend over for brief periods to dry your hair. You should certainly be able to wear glasses without any problem. Bending over and stress causes an increase of blood pressure in your head and could cause bleeding in the immediate post-op period. However, you are far enough along that the blood vessels are well sealed and bleeding should no longer be a problem. You can expect to still be swollen and perhaps a bit bruised from the surgery. That is normal at this time.
