Answer: Scar You had some healing issues because of the lift. Your scars can first be revised, and then cosmetic, not artistic, tattooing can be done to add color if needed. Or, you can just have the tattooing done.

Answer: Scars Dear gpaz7723, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Areola color Correction, you had both a breast augmentation with an anchor mastopexy (breast lift). It is not uncommon for the areola to hypopigment (lose color) around the scars in darker colored patients. Usually, this color returns within a year without treatment. In those that do not, it is suggested to see a tattoo artist who may camouflage both the lighter color and the scars. Best wishes. Dr. Taranow

Answer: Scarring / loss of pigment - Areola - after breast augmentation and lift Hi, It seems that you have a breast lift together with augmentation and there has been some healing issues around the areola. One reason might have been due to large implants. Depending on the timing since your surgery, you may regain part of the pigments back, however, it will not be 100%.I recommend to consider tattooing the areola. If you decide to change your implants with smaller implants, then you can have a revision of the breast lift and correct part of the scars, however, it will not bring the pigment back to the areola. I hope this helps.
