I'm 3 days post-op and while most of my nose just feels pressure, the incision is stingy and painful to the point that I am taking my painkillers still and as such have not yet had a bowel movement. The stitches are meant to dissolve on their own and I've been instructed to keep them moist using a Q-tip with neosporin or vaseline, which is torture. I can barely move my face/make expressions because the stitches feel so tight it feels like they're being stretched and it hurts! Is this normal?
