How Long Will It Take to Get Rid of Rashes from Topical Anaesthetic? (photo)

Hi, Yesterday I went for a "Clear and Brilliant". The nurse applied a topical anaesthetic on my face for 20 minutes. After that there were bumpy red rashes all over my face except the forehead. They are not itchy but look scary. The nurse decided to stop doing the treatment on me. She only suggested to take antihistamine (Telfast). I already took one. I can't see any improvement yet! Is it normal? Will these rashes leave any scar on my face? How long will it take to get rid of these?
