I recently had a crown put on my two front bottom teeth that were badly chipped after an accident. My teeth were very crooked to begin with and my dentist ended up using one crown to cover both to make them look straight. However the crown is irritating my tongue since i can feel a very sharp edge on the bottom. I also feel as though my bite is too high. My question is, can this be fixed and is it common practice to crown two teeth with one crown when they are misaligned?

You should not have to pay anything to have the crown adjusted. It's a very quick and simple procedure. A little bit of the crown material will be removed with the drill until the bite is right.
