Ematrix is an excellent treatment for acne scarring and we would advise patients to wait a few weeks after a photofacial so that the skin has had time to heal. In both treatments, our office advises patients to use a topical skin lightener such as Melarase to help reduce pigmentation and age spots. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
Thank you for posting a picture. It is recommended that you wait 2 weeks for epidermal healing before eMatrix treatments are initiated.

Our office utilizes the Ematrix protocol for acne scars and we advise patients to go through a round of procedures to achieve optimal results. Improvement is seen with one treatment, but several is probably more appropriate. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian
Our office specializes in scar revision and we use both the ematrix and fractional co2 lasers for surgical scars. Raffy Karamanoukian MD FACS
Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis. We see atrophic and hypertrophic scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus...
