I am 39 yrs old and would like to improve the appearance of my fair skin and diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles. I recieved gift certificates for a microderabrasion and one for a TCA chemical peel. How long after the microdermabrasion should I wait to try the chemical peel?

Answer: TCA peels can be done the same day as a microdermabrasion.
25% TCA is a relatively strong solution for home use. Repeated application of this solution will double the effect and could cause deep burn and scar. Frosting is a sign of penetration of the TCA into the skin. Remember, the eyelid skin is the thinnest skin in the body and can be damaged easily.
