I had 4000 grafts in turkey over 4 and half months ago does my one side of my doner area doesn’t lol bad but the other side looks over harvested. At first I thought it maybe been shock loss as it looks patchy and over the last 2 months I have started to use regaine at the back to see if would help bring the old hair back But I might just go get micro scalp pigmentation now.
Answer: FUE is not a scarless surgery and if you keep your hair very short you will definitely see the FUE harvest effects. 4000 grafts of FUE harvesting may cause donor hair depletion if you had a low density of hair to begin with. Answer: Onor area look over harvested Sometimes there may be such a early phase alopecic, bald spots in donor areas after FUE surgery, but fortunatelly most are transient. İt may happen because of over harvesting or transient post traumatic shedding /shock loss. Any way it heals and hair regrow in 4-5 months of hair restoration surgery .

Answer: Over Harvesting with FUE is a Real Problem Yes, your donor area appears over harvested and you may have to wear your hair longer to cover the defect. In addition, it appears the safe areas have been intruded upon. I have never seen a patient that can have 4,000 grafts removed safely by FUE.

Answer: Over-harvested donor area To support a 4000 graft FUE, your donor density should have been 10% higher than a typical Caucasian's donor density. From the photos, it does look like your donor area was over-harvested. See below for more details on this comment
