Hi my doctors think that I have an autoimmune disorder possibly cfs. I am wanting to try juverderm. Would I be safe to use it or is it contraindicated for people with auto immune disorders.

Answer: There are no contraindications with the use of Juvederm and people with autoimmune disorders.
If an infection occurs, which is very rare, by injecting more needles in the lip with any additional filler, the silicone can get infected and this can create all sorts of problems leading to surgery to remove the silicone which can cause bad scarring or irregularity, uneveness and asymmetry....
Because it has already been a few weeks after your treatment, you may be experiencing swelling or too much filler was injected. I recommend you see your injector to discuss your concern and see if a corrective treatment with hyaluronidase would help.
Nasolabial folds ( laugh lines) are generally created from loss of volume in our cheeks. Your weight loss may have caused this. A filler such as Voluma is injected into the cheeks it will add volume and contour to the cheek and therefore help soften the Nasolabial fold. Best of luck
