i am 12 days post op and today i got the cast removed. my surgeon touched my nose a lot today and im sure she felt it but she said nothing. when i got back home i was touching the sides of my nose and right where the bone was broke, like at the base of the nose i dont know the right term but where you break it to make it thinner, there is like a hard oval thing really hard and feels like bone. doesnt hurt at all and its only on one side. im kinda worried what could it be? hope you understand

While a lot of swelling will go down in the first 3 weeks or so, it will take 3-6 months for all of the swelling to go away, followed by contraction of the skin for another year or longer. So don't worry too much now as things will likely improve a lot.
