IPL Hair Removal on Legs Five Days Ago. Small/medium Hives/sports Sore & Itchy. Is This Normal and How Do I Get Rid of It ASAP?

Have family wedding in 7days and need to spraytan and wear a dress to my knees, marks are sore, red, ugly and uncomfortable. I thought they'd be gone in a day or two but 5 days now and still no luck, is this a normal reaction?? and how do I get rid of them before next weeks wedding. I have had bikini & underarm IPL course with mild redness for 24 hours but not this reaction before.
