Hi doctors, I’m 166 cm tall, 55 kg, with a breast base width of approximately 11–11.5 cm. I have very minimal natural breast tissue and low body fat. I am considering Motiva Ergonomix 2 implants in the 235–250 cc range (mini size), aiming for a small, natural-looking result. My surgeon is currently deciding between dual plane and subfascial placement because I have very little natural breast tissue. However, he mentioned that he may not prefer dual plane in my case because Motiva Ergonomix 2 implants are lightweight and highly cohesive, and he is concerned that under the muscle they might not settle or “drop” in a way that creates a soft, natural slope. He suggested that the implant could potentially stay too high or not create the desired lower pole fullness. At the same time, I am concerned about soft tissue coverage due to my low body fat. Given my anatomy and the relatively small implant size (235–250 cc), would subfascial placement provide enough upper pole coverage and long-term aesthetic stability? Or would dual plane still be considered the more predictable option in a thin patient like me? I would greatly appreciate your professional opinions.

I’m currently a 30 y female who lost 130 pounds at age 22 and underwent a long line tummy tuck to remove excess skin (as well as breast reconstruction which also didn’t yield good results.) Ever since the procedure I have had a large horizontal indent above my belly button. I’m aware that this is because the surgeon pulled my skin down and it didn’t fix the horizontal skin issue. I should have gotten a full fluer-dis-lis procedure. Even when I got to an underweight BMI, the large indentations were still there. I wanted to know what my options could be.

Answer

Hello! I was wondering the liklihood of getting this extra skin smoothed out.l I was not interested in a FDL, So now I am trying to manage expectations. I understand I have some flared ribs, But I’m referring to the skin that’s under underneath them

Answer

Hi, I was told I have a saddle nose, and I am wondering if closed or open rhinoplasty is suggested for me. I do not like the look of the nostrils I see in open rhinoplasty. I also want my tip to be slightly refined, and I hear this is difficult with closed rhinoplasty

Answer

Hi doctors, I’m considering rhinoplasty because my nose looks wider and flares when I smile, and the tip also appears bibulbous. My concern is that I want my nose to look more refined and balanced with my face, but I do not want my smile to look unnatural or restricted. Could you please advise what procedures might help in this case? For example, would tip refinement, alar base reduction, or other techniques be required to reduce the flaring and width while maintaining a natural smile? My goal is a slimmer, elevated nose that suits my face but still looks natural when I smile. Thank you

Answer

I am an older male with thick facial skin. I have large vertical nostrils (photo attached). Would rhinoplasty be feasible to make my nostrils less vertical and reduce overall bulbousness? The nostrils are the most important factor. Thanks.

I have a procedure coming up in a few days for 360 Lipo, extended tummy tuck & BBL. I have an inverted triangle shape so it will be nice to have some hips however I am so scared of the BBL. Is fat transfer to just hips safer than full transfer to hips & buttocks? Will my results look odd if I ask for just fat transfer to hips as I have a relatively flat bum? How about long term implications of fat transfer as we age? My priority is safety, TIA

Answer

I got a BBL about a year ago.... after the first 6 months I started to notice asymmetry. Long story short surgeon is impossible to reach. Its been 2 years and I have worst selfsteem than before my surgery. Before my surgery I just had no butt lol now I have a very deformed one, its like every day is migrating more into my lower hip and i cant do anything to stop it. Its crazy how ever since I got my bbl I dont wear anything thight or short dresses, or bathing suits. I used to go to the beach on a weekly basis now I have tl go sunrise to ensure nobody sees this mounstrosity.... can this be fixed with excersice?

Hello, I am 35 years old, healthy , 5’3 , 123 pounds, I don’t smoke or drink and I am physically active. I ‘ve had silicon implants under the muscle 280ml since 2013 and would like to remove them. I also would like to get a breast lift done and a BBL with lipo 360. However some providers say they do not combine mastopexy with BBL and others do. What are the best options for me? Do all together at once , explant with BBL and wait if I need a lift , or separate the breast procedures and the BBL ?

I am a 52 year-old woman, and I am scheduled for a mommy makeover in March. When I was interviewing surgeons, I discovered that some use drains and some do not. I'm not looking forward to having drains, and I'm wondering why some surgeons don't use them. What are the advantages/disadvantages of using them, are there greater risks one way or the other, and should I reconsider my surgeon if he uses drains? Thank you in advance for your response!

Hi everyone, I’m planning a breast augmentation and I could really use some advice. I’ve been trying to figure out whether Motiva Round (SmoothSilk) or Motiva Ergonomix would suit me best. Here’s my situation: • Height: 1.65 m / Weight: 57 kg • Breast base width: 12 cm • History: I first had 300 cc anatomical implants placed when I was 18. About 10 years later I had them removed. For a few years I didn’t have anything, and in the meantime I had 2 children and breastfed, which left me with a rather empty B cup. • Current breasts: small, somewhat deflated after breastfeeding • Desired result: I want larger breasts than before, aiming for a small D cup, but still natural-looking — nothing immediately obvious as implants. • Past fitting experience: • 380 cc felt too big • 340–360 cc feels like it could be just right • Project: Demi projection • Placement: Above the muscle • Surgeon input: Both surgeons said I don’t need a lift and that the implants would nicely fill the volume. I’ve consulted two surgeons: one recommended Ergonomix, the other Round. My concern with Ergonomix is that it might look a bit saggy or droopy due to my current empty look from breastfeeding. I think I would have chosen Ergonomix when I was younger, but now I’m unsure. On the other hand, I like the upper-pole fullness and projection of Round, which might give a more lifted appearance. I really don’t know whether I should go with Round or Ergonomix I’d love any advice you have!

I want to get a boob job but the surgeons I have sent photos to 2 out of 3 of them said I need a lift aswell but I don’t like the scars would it be a bad idea to get it without a lift

Answer

I’m a 56 year-old female who was lost 140 pounds. I have significant volume loss in my breasts. I very wide breast bases with not much projection. I would say I have moderate sagging, but the nipple is either at or above the fold still. And I would not need my nipples resized. My question is is it possible to get a decent result in my case just using implants. I’m not interested in really high breasts at my age. And I would prefer not having a nipple incision.incision.

Answer

TL;DR No hope for implants w/o lift? 5'8 - 140lbs (had a 60lb loss in 2020, maintained since) Breastfed for 2 years (2016-2018) I had a virtual consult with CEC in Costa Rica because I've heard such good things about the Preservé method and the minimal scarring from the small incision. They suggested a lift as well, but I'm not interested, and they wouldn't know for sure until I was there in person. I don't want them perfect, just fuller in a non-deformed way. I actually like the teardrop type shape, but mine look like empty pockets. Obviously I'm not the expert, and would love to pulse check. Would most docs say the same?

Answer

My doctor is recommending a neck lift procedure that he will finish off by using the lipo tool to rough up the underside of the skin. This is to create scarring in order to tighten the skin. My concern Is that it will create unnatural looking adhesions between the tissues. Is it better to use an energy device to tighten the skin or am i worrying unnecessarily?

Answer

I did a liposuction (with local surgery) on my flanks 9 months ago. 1 week after the lipo, I was super happy because my flanks looked flat and all but it's been months where I see that the flanks have almost returned to their original shape although I see an improvement by 50%. My surgeon says it's residual skin. what do you think ?

Answer

I had an upper and lower bleph 10 months ago, my right is smaller, slightly higher and looks retracted ( akin to a glass eye) I sent pictures to my surgeon who states there was asymmetry pre op. I accept that we all have a degree of asymmetry, however one eyelid is certainly smaller ( less skin) than the other, which was not the case pre op! What are my options on repairing this? It's really knocked my confidence.

I am a 65 year old woman; what procedures do you recommend?

Answer

I just turned 40. I don't like my nasolabial folds and marionette lines. I'd like to look younger and more feminine (potentially heart shaped, but open to other ways to look more feminine in the face), instead of that "bulldog face shape" (I don't think it's that bad, but I'm not sure how else to describe it :)). I'd also like to lift my eyebrows a little to look more fresh. Overall I still want it to look natural, lifted as opposed to pulled back. I've had filler, botox, Sculptra. Everything bar the POD threads worked well. I'm now ready for something more envasive, but would prefer procedures that don't take as much downtime. I'm based in Ireland, ideally here or Europe. Many thanks!

I am a 41 year old female. I‘m 5’2 and weigh 140lbs. I’m noticing in the past 5 years my face seems to be getting more square with jowling. I’ve tried massater Botox and a Nefertiti lift but it hasn’t taken care of the jowling. I’m considering whether I would be a candidate for a mini facelift?
