Cheek, Chin and Jawline Enhancement

Dual training and board certifications in maxillofacial and facial cosmetic surgery allow me to offer expertise in facial contouring procedures such as cheek and chin surgery. I perform many of these procedures with small incisions hidden inside the mouth so there are no visible scars on the face.

My surgical technique of choice for natural, long-lasting results in facial rejuvenation surgery is a deep-plane face and neck lift. Face lift incisions are hidden inside the hairline at the temple, in the natural skin crease in front of the ear, then around the ear and ending in a hidden scalp area behind the ear. Sagging muscles and connective tissues are repositioned to the natural youthful state, and excess skin is removed. In some cases, fatty deposits are removed from beneath the chin and neck. Because the deep plane multivector technique repositions the underlying connective tissue (SMAS) layer, the skin flap can be passively repositioned and to avoid the unnatural, wind-tunnel look often associated with conventional face lifts. Finally, incisions are closed meticulously with very fine sutures. Once final healing is completed, typically around four to six months, the incisions are hardly noticeable.
