Butt Augmentation Cost?
There are two ways to enlarge your buttocks:
1.) Brazilian Butt Lift (Fat Transfer)
2.) Butt Implants
Brazilian butt lift is the combination of liposuction and fat injection.
How is the Brazilian butt lift performed?
The Brazilian butt lift involves three techniques: liposelection of two or more areas, donor fat processing, and microinjection of the donor fat into the buttocks.
Under anesthesia, the buttock is first contoured by performing liposelection,(ultrasonic liposuction) to harvest the fat to be used. Common areas to liposuction include the back- directly above the butt, the abdomen, and the thighs. Note that even the liposuction alone will give your body a more attractive look.
After liposuction, Dr. Wiener carefully purifies the fat so that only the best donor fat cells will be injected back into your buttocks for augmentation. The fat which has been suctioned is processed to isolate viable fat cells. The fat is carefully purified such that only a fraction of the donor fat removed will qualify for re-injection to the buttocks. In order to get enough qualified fat, Doctor must liposuction at least two areas of your body.
The purified fat is then placed or transferred to the buttocks with special cannulas. This process is referred to as ‘microinjection’. Dr. Wiener’s technique of microinjection enables the fat cells to receive adequate blood supply so that they can survive once inside the buttocks tissue. This technique results in the highest permanent survival rate of the fat and is the best way to achieve a permanent result.
Dr. Wiener microinjects small amounts of purified donor fat into different areas and depths of the buttocks. The procedure involves scores or hundreds of micro fat injections. Correct injection methods are key to achieving a long lasting, uniform, smooth, and natural appearance to the buttocks.
An additional benefit of the Brazilian butt lift is that you not only get a shapelier buttock, but the area to liposuction is now much leaner, giving your profile a more sensuous look.
The fat is harvested using specialized liposuction techniques called Lipo-Selection. A low pressure aspiration system is used to minimize damage to fat cells as they are being extracted. Regular liposuction traumatizes fat cells too much. Only the correct type of liposuction will yield fat cells that will result in a permanent lifetime result.
However, implants may be recommended for patients who have very little body fat to harvest, such as body-builders and naturally thin patients. After buttock augmentation with fat transfer or silicone implants, patients should avoid sitting directly on the buttocks or lying on their backs for two to three weeks to maximize results. During this time, compression garments may be worn to reduce swelling. Patients may experience some pain or discomfort, bruising and swelling after the procedure. Most patients return to work two weeks after their buttock augmentation and are able to resume all normal activities within four weeks. Swelling typically dissipates by the sixth week.
Cost is always a consideration in elective surgery. Procedure prices can vary widely, due to the fact that every patient is different. It could be a range between $8,000 and $9,000.
Transferring your own fat to the buttocks is a very popular way to improve the size and shape of your buttocks through injections (and without artificial implants). In addition, there is the added benefit of improved contour to the body due to liposuction of the area the fat is harvested from. Lastly, augmentation with your own fat is generally less expensive than augmentation with implants.
Cost of Buttock Augmentation or Implant
There are basically 2 safe ways to get buttock augmentation. First and preferred is using your own fat after careful micro-liposuction by a board certified Plastic Surgeon. Second, is buttock implants. Most people with enough fat are requesting the removal fat from areas of excess fat and injecting the fat for better buttocks. If you don't have enough fat, using implant for buttock augmentation is a better option.
The cost of your surgery really depends of the area of the country, the surgeon and hospital. However, plan to spend between $8000 to $14,000. The average cost is about $9-10K in Atlanta. The most important decision is to make sure that your surgeon is trained in surgery. That is a real Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

There are two tried and true methods for Buttock Augmentation: 1) Fat Transfer (of fat from one area of the body to the buttocks) cost ~ $10,000.00+ or 2) Buttock Implants which is actually relatively safe and effective in experienced hands (although very few board certified plastic surgeons are experts in this procedure) cost ~$8,500.00. Key is to find a board certified plastic surgeon versed in both techniques so that you receive a professional unbiased consultation. Best of luck...RAS

Average Cost of Buttock Augmentation
Buttock augmentation can take the form of fat transfer or use of implants for augmentation. I do not recommend implants because of their high complication rate and what happens to your buttock as you age. The implant will remain and stay hard (if you are one of the few who doesn't require it to be removed within the first several years or months) while your soft tissue and fat delfates and your skin thins. So imagine a hard object in your buttock area resting on your bones and thinned out muscles as you sit and walk everyday! Not pleasant.
Fat transfer also known as a "Brazilian Butt Lift" is more effective, soft and natural with extremely low risks. The cost for this will range on your surgeon's expertise level, the amount of fat you have or don't have, and the amount of time required for the procedure. On average, the range in Los Angeles is between 8000 to 13000.
Good luck in your search and do your research!

The cost can vary like any surgery by where it is perform and who those the surgery. What is important is to select a surgeon with good reputaion and experience.
It really depends on whether you plan to have buttock augmentatioin with use of implants or with fat transfer. The latter is called a brazilian butt lift. It involves use of your own liposuctioned fat for transfer to the buttock area to augmneta nd enhance the buttock shape. Depending on your desired procedure, in Ornage County, it cna range from 8000 to 14000.

You have seen the cost can range from $2500-20,000
Cost is important but there are many other issues you should ask before the cost. I mean do not make your decision based on cost only
1. Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
2. What are the options you have, their risks and complications
3. Where is it done
4. What are your goals, How to achieve them, which procedure
5. Cost, including surgeon, anesthesia (WHO IS GIVING ANESTHESIA? MD anesthesiologist? Nurse anesthest? Who supervises?)
6. Complications, Redos, Need for further surgery, Who is financially responsible?
Buttock Augmentation Costs $5K to $14K
The costs of buttock augmentation will depend on the technique chosen, (fat grafting, implants, or both), your anatomy and goals, the length of the proposed surgery, the number of areas being suctioned (if the chosen technique involves fat grafting), and the reputation and expertise of the surgeon (like other professionals, plastic surgeons' fees will reflect their reputation and expertise, as well as the geographic area in which they practice).
Because there are so many variables, it would be difficult to give you an accurate estimate of costs, but in our practice augmentation of the buttocks might cost anywhere from $5000 (for the simplest of augmentation procedures) to $14,000 (both fees include all anesthesia and facility fees).
My best advice is for you to locate a surgeon certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery who has a large experience doing these procedures- ask how many they do per year, ask to see photos of their work, and maybe even to speak to former patients. After review of your goals and a careful exam, they'll be able to advise you on your options and recommend the procedure most likely to achieve your goals for you.
