Average Cost of Buttock Augmentation
Buttock augmentation can take the form of fat transfer or use of implants for augmentation. I do not recommend implants because of their high complication rate and what happens to your buttock as you age. The implant will remain and stay hard (if you are one of the few who doesn't require it to be removed within the first several years or months) while your soft tissue and fat delfates and your skin thins. So imagine a hard object in your buttock area resting on your bones and thinned out muscles as you sit and walk everyday! Not pleasant.
Fat transfer also known as a "Brazilian Butt Lift" is more effective, soft and natural with extremely low risks. The cost for this will range on your surgeon's expertise level, the amount of fat you have or don't have, and the amount of time required for the procedure. On average, the range in Los Angeles is between 8000 to 13000.
Good luck in your search and do your research!

Cost of buttock augmentation
The average cost of a buttock augmentation can range from 7000-15000 depending on which technique is used and the surgeon's experience. A Brazilian buttock lift involves transferring fat from one or more areas to the buttock. This is a great way to reshape the buttock and give a very natural looking and feeling result. The other option is to insert a silicone implant to the buttock. This is sometimes useful in thinner patients who do not have enough fat however tends to have more complications and a less natural look. Consult with a plastic surgeon who is very experienced in gluteal augmentation to see which procedure is best for you. Do not make your decision based on price.
How Much Does Butt Augmentation Cost?
The cost of buttock augmentation surgery can vary from one surgeon to another, from one patient to another and from one country to another, depending on whether implants are used, or the patient's own fat, it also depends on the physical condition or patient's health, and market factors and the economy of each state or country. In Dominican Republic we can offer lower costs than in many countries with high scientific, aesthetic and security levels in accordance with international standard.

There are two ways to enlarge your buttocks:
1.) Brazilian Butt Lift (Fat Transfer)
2.) Butt Implants
Brazilian butt lift is the combination of liposuction and fat injection.
How is the Brazilian butt lift performed?
The Brazilian butt lift involves three techniques: liposelection of two or more areas, donor fat processing, and microinjection of the donor fat into the buttocks.
Under anesthesia, the buttock is first contoured by performing liposelection,(ultrasonic liposuction) to harvest the fat to be used. Common areas to liposuction include the back- directly above the butt, the abdomen, and the thighs. Note that even the liposuction alone will give your body a more attractive look.
After liposuction, Dr. Wiener carefully purifies the fat so that only the best donor fat cells will be injected back into your buttocks for augmentation. The fat which has been suctioned is processed to isolate viable fat cells. The fat is carefully purified such that only a fraction of the donor fat removed will qualify for re-injection to the buttocks. In order to get enough qualified fat, Doctor must liposuction at least two areas of your body.
The purified fat is then placed or transferred to the buttocks with special cannulas. This process is referred to as ‘microinjection’. Dr. Wiener’s technique of microinjection enables the fat cells to receive adequate blood supply so that they can survive once inside the buttocks tissue. This technique results in the highest permanent survival rate of the fat and is the best way to achieve a permanent result.
Dr. Wiener microinjects small amounts of purified donor fat into different areas and depths of the buttocks. The procedure involves scores or hundreds of micro fat injections. Correct injection methods are key to achieving a long lasting, uniform, smooth, and natural appearance to the buttocks.
An additional benefit of the Brazilian butt lift is that you not only get a shapelier buttock, but the area to liposuction is now much leaner, giving your profile a more sensuous look.
The fat is harvested using specialized liposuction techniques called Lipo-Selection. A low pressure aspiration system is used to minimize damage to fat cells as they are being extracted. Regular liposuction traumatizes fat cells too much. Only the correct type of liposuction will yield fat cells that will result in a permanent lifetime result.
However, implants may be recommended for patients who have very little body fat to harvest, such as body-builders and naturally thin patients. After buttock augmentation with fat transfer or silicone implants, patients should avoid sitting directly on the buttocks or lying on their backs for two to three weeks to maximize results. During this time, compression garments may be worn to reduce swelling. Patients may experience some pain or discomfort, bruising and swelling after the procedure. Most patients return to work two weeks after their buttock augmentation and are able to resume all normal activities within four weeks. Swelling typically dissipates by the sixth week.
Cost is always a consideration in elective surgery. Procedure prices can vary widely, due to the fact that every patient is different. It could be a range between $8,000 and $9,000.
Buttock augmentation cost
The cost of buttock augmentation, whether it be with the use of fat, implants, or both, varies across the board. I've seen prices as low as $4000 and as high as $18,000. The price is dependent on the local market and the surgeon's discretion. Even though, the price is an important factor, I would recommend that you look at the surgeon's experience and credentials when choosing him or her. You should ask to see pictures of the surgeon's work. You should inquire to see if the surgeon is board-certified in plastic surgery. In some states, any non-plastic surgeon can perform the procedure. So therefore, please contact a board-certified plastic surgeon for a consultation.
Cost of Buttock Augmentation or Implant
There are basically 2 safe ways to get buttock augmentation. First and preferred is using your own fat after careful micro-liposuction by a board certified Plastic Surgeon. Second, is buttock implants. Most people with enough fat are requesting the removal fat from areas of excess fat and injecting the fat for better buttocks. If you don't have enough fat, using implant for buttock augmentation is a better option.
The cost of your surgery really depends of the area of the country, the surgeon and hospital. However, plan to spend between $8000 to $14,000. The average cost is about $9-10K in Atlanta. The most important decision is to make sure that your surgeon is trained in surgery. That is a real Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
