I also have rosacea but am on Doxy and Metrogel. I prefer a thick emulsion and really don't have the money for the "good stuff".

Aveeno Ultra Calming Cream

 Aveeno Ultra Calming Cream is a very good inexpernsive choice. While my preference is RevaleSkin Day Cream the cost of this is $72, while the Aveeno product, which is almost as good in my opinion should run about $12. Bionic Lotion by Neo-Strata is also a good product and not pricey.
