Does it look normal or muscle repair lopsided? I have been wearing my garments 24x7, massaging, being careful but the more I heal the more I notice the swelling seems worse / more prominent on the full left side (top to bottom) as shown in the pic. I did have a cough that came on 4 days post op and lasted a week... my surgeon says it’s normal swelling but wanted to get additional thoughts / feedback. I will post before pics too Incase that helps.

Dear serd 123You have great quality skin and localized fat distribution in your lower abdomen. In most cases, this area can be significantly improved with liposuction. look for an experienced and well trained plastic surgeon. see more than one consult and make a well informed decision.
Having a tan prior to surgery should not affect your healing. What will be important is to make sure that you protect the scars after your surgery, since sun exposure after surgery can certainly affect the appearance of your scars. Best of luck with your surgery!
Thank you for your question! Yes, patients with hyperthyroidism can have a tummy tuck procedure, however pre surgical clearances May be required, such as labs and a letter of clearance from your primary care provider. I hope this helps!
