I had the second treatment of Miradry at level 5 two months ago, and since that time I have experiencing pain in my right arm radiating (sometime shooting, sometimes constant) from the axilla down to the elbow. Sometimes, I can also feel pain in the forearm area. Visually, there is nerve (or tendon) that is very prominent in my tricep area. It is painful when stretching or pushing. Is this axillary nerve damage? I'm scared about permanent damage, so should I seek medical treatment. Please help!

Numbness is usually transient. I would discuss your concerns with your surgeon to determine if there is any scar tissue that may be predisposing you to the problem. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
Miradry has been studied extensively and there has been no correlation to cancer. It only penetrates 4-5mm in depth and does not reach the lymph nodes. It heats up and destroys the sweat glands only. I have done it myself and it has truly been a gift.
