I got MiraDry on March 9th and I was injected something for the numbing and to protect the tissue on the underarm area but now I am super swollen and it has reached all the way down to my elbow! i can move my arms and I do not feel pain. My arms just feel super heavy and look super big because of it. How long for it to go down? my wedding is in 6weeks can i take something to make this swelling to go down faster? is this normal??? please help!!
My procedure went very well and I have almost no pain 3 days after procedure. My pecs have turned into man boobs though. I feel like they are filled with liquid and are a little tendor. Is this okay and how long will it take to go back to normal?
I got MiraDry a four days ago and while I have yet to break a sweat (HOORAY!), I still have a lot of swelling. My armpits are still the size a golf ball. There is not really any pain anymore and not much numbness left either. I was told that the saline used during the procedure would eventually dissolve in the body. How long does that take? When will my armpits be back to normal?
Its now 2 days post miraDry treatment and i have these swelling in my underarms and upperarm. I understand that this will eventually go away. But how do i get rid of it fast because when i walk my upperarms jiggles, its annoying and my underarms still kind of hurts. Also it makes me look like i gained a lot of weight.
I got my MiraDry procedure done on Monday (4/16) and I still have significant swelling and numbness under my arms. I can't really put my arms down because of the swelling. Is this still normal? I've iced the area for about 36 hours but now I'm back to work and can only ice in the evenings. Does icing still make sense? What can I do to reduce the swelling?
I did the Miradry for the first time 5 days ago - everything went well. From day 3 the swelling / fluid started on my chest traveling to my abdomen / waist, now it's around my penis (penile edema) I know this to do with the gravity, but is it normal for it to go all the way down? I apply ice on all swollen areas and take ibuprofen (once a day) and bromelain (twice a day) I'm really worried. I did the treatment in a city 500km away from home. I would appreciate your advises doctors.
I had MiraDry done about three weeks ago and I was doing really well my swelling had gone almost entirely down but they were still numb. About two days ago I regained almost all of my feeling. However, yesterday on my left side the swelling reflamed except more painful. I'm really afraid of infection and not sure if it's just normal.
