Fractional CO2 laser can improve burn scars.

Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing is an excellent treatment option for burn scars. I recommend that you see a board-certified, fellowship-trained Dermatologic surgeon to evaluate your scar and discuss all relevant treatment options, including CO2 laser, steroid injections, and surgical revision.

Options to treat burn scar on lip

I would recommend surgical excision to remove the burn scar on your lower lip. This would completely remove the scar and the surgical scar on the lip should heal well, given the location. I doubt the surgical scar would be noticeable after it healed.

I have a similar issue with lip burns and want to know what the estimated cost for laser resurfacing or surgical excision would be. i have insurance with Kaiser, do they cover this sort of thing?

Thank you so much for your response, I most certainly look into both options.
