I've always thought my nose is a very weird shape. I'm a 21 yr old Hispanic female with a small forehead and heart shape face. From the front I don't really mind my nose but my profile makes me look very masculine/ ugly when I want to look pretty and feminine. I feel like a very different person when I look at my profile and I hate it. Would non surgical nose job be right to help balance my features? If not what procedure would be recommended?
Answer: Rhinoplasty in the Hispanic female with large nasal hump. Rhinoplasty in the Hispanic female with large nasal hump.A rhinoplasty to remove the home and refine your tip will give you a much more feminine and attractive appearance. This should not be over done. Look for a surgeon who does natural looking noses and rely on his before and after pictures not on imaging.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Rhinoplasty for dorsal hump removal In our practice, we do not recommend nonsurgical rhinoplasty do to significant complications that can occur from placement of the filler material, it's only temporary, and not FDA approved for that application. The dorsal hump is composed of both bone and cartilage and must be shaved down in order to remove it surgically. Osteotomies of the nasal bones are then required to close the open roof deformity created from the hump removal, and narrow the bridge. The tip may be narrowed accordingly to balance with the new bridge line. For many examples and more information about surgical rhinoplasty, please see link below

Answer: Feminizing nose As a general rule, a nasal dorsum that lies a few millimeters lower than the tip and a slight upturn to the tip are considered feminine features. You have both a bony and cartilaginous component to the dorsal hump, so you would benefit not only from reduction of the prominent portions, but also augmentation of the radix (the part of your nose between the eyes). Seek an experienced board certified plastic surgeon and you should have a beautiful result.

Answer: More feminine nose Hello. A rhinoplasty is the best option if you want to make your nose look more feminine. You have a prominent dorsal hump and your tip is bulbous and slightly under rotated. Unfortunately, fillers won't camouflage these findings. I recommend your hump be taken down and tip refined and rotation improved slightly. Be sure you see a board certified surgeon for in office exam. Take care.

Answer: What can I do to make my nose more feminine? Improving the cosmetic appearance of the nose by making it a little smaller and refining its shape, yet having the result look natural and more feminine, is a frequent request from patients. It is achievable with a rhinoplasty. A "non-surgical nose job" will not achieve what you desire. Following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you exactly what to do based on 2 dimensional photos without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of the operative procedure would not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon with extensive nasal surgery experience who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) or a facial plastic surgeon that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Robert Singer, MD FACS La Jolla, California
