Answer: Implant size Dear Luminous969863, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Size Congratulations on your weight loss! I would suggest meeting with a board-certified plastic surgeon, being examine and measured, and trying on the range of sizes that best fits your frame and tissue. Since you lost all that weight, you do not want large implants that will make you look fat. You might consider something between 250-350 cc's.

Answer: Sizing implants Congratulations on your weight loss! Trying to figure out the appropriate size is always a very individualized process. It is best to go to your surgeon’s office to try on sizes in front of a mirror so you can see how the different sizes and profiles look on your body. Then you can easily tell what is right for you. Best of luck!

Answer: 5'1, 120lbs, 22, A/B cup, & loose skin after weight loss, don't know what size to get? (Photos) An in-office consultation is necessary in order to evaluate breasts for surgery. However, considering your history and photos it seems that you will need a breast lift and not just implants. But you may be able to benefit from a lift which involves an incision only around the areola which usually leaves a fairly imperceptible scar. You should consult with a Board Certified plastic surgeon with lots of experience performing breast lifting with augmentation.

Answer: Mini lift with small implants At size 34, each 100 cc of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. 300 cc implants would take you up to a size D. However, if you lost 60 lbs then your breasts are hanging low on the chest wall and will have loose skin. The implants will not take in the slack. You would benefit from a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, small implants can be placed totally submuscular. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
