On June 21st I had a temporary crown put in. During the procedure I had to had more pain medication because I could feel the drill. What is happening? I’ve tried Aleve, Tylenol and OxyCodone. Nothing is stopping the pain. It’s in the same place. Shooting. Sharp. When I swallow I get the shooting pain up the side of my head and in my ear and in my throat.

In order to have a new crown fabricated, the old crown would have to be removed and you would need a new scan or impression to have a new crown made. I don't think medicaid will cover a new crown for cosmetic purposes so expect to pay for it completely out of pocket.
