After 5 days, yesterday I had stitches removed from a deep laceration I sustained on my chin. However the dr. was very vague about what I can do from here on out to minimize scarring and essentially just told me to start using Mederma in two weeks. I was wondering if this is wise or if there are better treatments. Also right now it looks like the stitch impressions are in my skin. I wanted to know if that's normal to have the day after stitches or if there's something that can be done about this?
