I had a chin implant 4 years ago. Recently I got some X-rays done by my orthodontist of my profile and she noticed that there has been major bone resorption on my chin. I have provided a picture of my x ray. My question is, how severe is the resorption of the bone? what will happen if i remove the chin implant? will genioplasty be an option considering the bone has wasted already? what action should i take next?
